My profile is posted on my blog but I figured I would give a short intro on here...
I am an agnostic (lean atheist) married to an agnostic deist/theist. My wife has a BS in Nursing with a minor in Theology from St. Catherine’s University. She works as an OB nurse. We have two children and are raising them Christian. They are being raised loosely Christian but they are baptized and will attend Sunday School.
I double majored in History and Religious Studies with a minor in Jewish Studies. Please check out my link about what Religious Studies is because it is not the same as Theology. I also had previous majors in Ancient Mediterranean Studies (3/4ths completed) and an Education major I dropped a few classes short because another two years of school to get my licensure is not in the picture.
My main area of focus in Religious Studies was Ancient Near Eastern Religions and the Abrahamic Religions.
My main area of focus in History was Ancient Near East/Middle East and Western History (which includes American History.)
I also have an area of focus (which I could literally major in) that overlaps both of them. That is the History and Philosophy of Science, including the design arguments, and the Evolution-Creationism Controversy. I also took a number of biology classes.
That is my education and expertise in a nutshell.
