As always, I will be the odd person out. I am not christian or any of its denominations. While I was raised a methadest, my parents never forced me to fully embrace it. I was allowed to look at other ideas, and cultures if I felt like I wanted to. It took awhile but I was able to figure out that I follow an older path, and that would be a path of a pagan. I have seen and too many things in my life, and what I have experienced, I was able to find answers along that path. My closest friends know exactly which path I follow, and have followed for many years now. If you want to know more, you have to get to know me. In doing so, you will find that I am open to discussion, but I simply ask that you don't try to persuade me to a different side, but it simply will not work.

Cool, Paul, thanks for explaining. You won't have to worry about being forced to believe something else here. Hopefully you still learn some things though!

I am Pagan/Wiccan. I grew up in a really Christian house, and I actually used to be super Christian, like I would read the bible all the time and I was part of a religious youth group/choir/altar server and I would go to church as often as possible. My views evolved and now I am, as I mentioned, Pagan/Wiccan.

Interesting. I do not personally know many Pagans/Wiccans, but the ones I do know more rejected Christianity from the start.

I'm an atheist, in that I lack any belief in a deity. I'm also an ant-theist in that I believe all religions are harmful to society, and that even if theistic beliefs were somehow true, they would be undesirable. I believe all religions are bogus, man-made, and an impediment to the progress of mankind.

Just an update: I now consider myself an agnostic pagan. Just thought I would mention the change.
Figured that absolute belief in a deity was stupid so I gave in to my agnostic tendencies and now follow pagan/wiccan philosophy and still practice/pray but with an acknowledgement to the fact that there is a large chance I am praying to nothing. I do it more for comfort than anything.
