I wanted to start a thread to share and promote my favorite singers. My aim is to focus on singers that are not well known or up and coming. I have simply fell in love with some of these singers and it is so sad so many people do not know who they are. There is not really a specific genre I listen to, I just love good voices. Personally I cannot sing a lick, I am tone deaf, but I am very good at picking out talent. I know that sounds cocky, but I will let my singers speak for themselves. I hope you enjoy them.

Christina Grimmie
Christina is someone many of you may have heard of. She has been popular on YouTube for years doing covers of songs and finished 3rd on a season of The Voice. The Voice is where I first heard her. I fell in love when she sang Wrecking Ball, it gave me goosebumps. After seeing the audition I said "that girl is going to win." She didn't win, but 3rd isn't bad...

I must admit I have not heard of most of them. Not surprising tho, I do not know a lot of people. What genera are they? I do like Avril, she actually played a huge role in my life. And as I have come to find out, nearly every guy had "a weird crush" on Avril.

Black Veil Brides has been described as alternative/glam rock
My Chemical Romance is alternative and pop-punk
Avril Lavigne is pop-rock
The Pretty Reckless is rock
Get Scared is post-hardcore
Motionless in White is metal
I will always have a crush on Avril Lavigne! Along with Andy Biersack from Black Veil Brides and Taylor Momsen from The Pretty Reckless.

Christina Grimmie has brought glorious music. I really enjoyed this video. Her performance is just awesome. Christina Grimmie is so talented. I think in the upcoming years she will come in the list of highest paid singers. |
